Dom zo šesťdesiatych rokov s pekným pozemkom a hospodárskymi stavbami je stále zaujímavý z hľadiska investovania času i finančných prostriedkov. Mladý pár so vzťahom k prírode nachádza v tomto výbere domu väčšiu hodnotu ako novostavbu v satelitnom mestečku pri hlavnom meste. Základné rozhodnutie začať s rekonštrukciou si vyžaduje aj odhodlanie prijať charakter vyplývajúci s vekom stavby, dostupnosťou vtedajších materiálov, postupom výstavby a prostredím v ktorom sa rodinný dom nachádza.
